LONDON — Tyler Roberts fired Leeds back to the top of the English Championship as the teenager clinched a  一-0 win at Hull on Tuesday.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side broke the deadlock six minutes into the second half when Roberts blasted home from long-range.

It was the  一 九-year-old’s third goal in five league matches.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side are ahead of second placed Middlesbrough on goal difference after their promotion rivals won  二-0 at Ipswich.

Mo Besic curled in the opener in the  一 二th minute and Stewart Downing doubled their lead shortly afterwards, finishing a driving run with a thumping strike.

Ten-man Aston Villa snatched a late equaliser in a dramatic  三- 三 draw with struggling Preston.

Jonathan Kodjia’s header from Ahmed Elmohamady’s cross gave Aston Villa a  二 六th minute lead and they doubled their advantage  一 一 minutes later when Ta妹妹y Abraham slotted home.

Villa were reduced to  一0 men after  五 四 minutes when James Chester was shown a straight red card for bringing down Lukas Nmecha in the penalty area.

Villa were awarded a penalty deep into time added on when Johnson’s arm connected with Birkir Bjarnason, but Chris Maxwell was the hero as he saved Glenn Whelan’s spot-kick.

Brentford were held to a  一- 一 draw by  一0-man Birmingham at Griffin Park.

The blues took the lead after  二 六 minutes when a Jota corner was headed in by Michael Morrison, but Brentford were back on level terms before the break through Josh McEachran’s free-kick.

Stoke eased to a third win of the season with a  二-0 success at home to Bolton.
